A factual introduction

Straightforward general practice, built around access.

I am Dr Neo Matontsi, MBChB, a General Practitioner committed to providing compassionate, professional and patient-centred healthcare.

My medical journey began in Cuba, where I completed my medical education at the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de La Habana (University of Medical Sciences of Havana). I subsequently moved to South Africa, where I continued and completed my medical training at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits).

My experience has allowed me to integrate my international medical training with the South African healthcare system, giving me an understanding of diverse clinical environments and the needs of patients within South Africa.

I believe in treating every patient as an individual, taking the time to listen, understand their concerns and provide appropriate, evidence-based care. My goal is to make quality healthcare accessible, convenient and respectful, whether through an online consultation or a home visit.

My practice focuses on accessible, personalised healthcare with the patient at the centre of every consultation.
